Bubble Waffle Cafe

4 out of 5 Stars

Vancouver, Canada Run:

I’d give this five stars, but that will probably overdo it. I mean nothing is perfect, right? This Fishball Steam Roll has the perfect mix of oyster sauce, peanut butter, and soy sauce. In addition to fish balls and steam rolls, you also get siu mai, which you normally don’t get when you order this else where. The fishball is the perfect bite size. Eating this, reminds me so much of Hong Kong, though it’s not quite at that same level yet. This however is the best steam roll I’ve had in Vancouver, Canada. I couldn’t describe it any better. You’ll have to try it for yourself to know how good it is.

Shanghai Asian Cuisine

4 out of 5 Stars

Shanghai Asian Cuisine is one of the better shanghai places to eat in Chinatown. Their soup dumplings have a very savory taste in its soup. One of my favourite dishes there is the spicy wonton. Its made with a special spicy sauce. My most favourite dish is the Kau Fu, which is basically tofu made with soy sauce. With each bite of the kau fu, it leaves you wanting more bites. It gets addicting.

This place is always packed with people because it’s so small, but its food is delicious, so the wait is worth it. The wait, however, isn’t really that long. The longest I’ve waited was maybe 30 minutes.

King Spa

Looking for a relaxing and fun day out with a girlfriend? King Spa is a great place to go to. It has many different saunas you can go into and sweat and relax at no extra costs. You can also do a body scrub to exfoliate dead skin on your body for an extra price. There’s also a cafeteria and a snack bar where you can sit down and eat or have a drink throughout the day. It’s a great hangout date with your girlfriend.

Yi Fang

4.5 out of 5 Stars

Yi Fang is most famous for their Brown Sugar Pearl Milk. They only come out with this drink 3 times a day (12PM, 3PM and 6PM) and once it’s sold out you’ll have to wait for the next batch to come out. I’ve waited 30 minutes for this drink. Is it worth it? This time I’ll say DEFINITELY YES!This drink is by far my favourite bubble tea drink of all times. Anyone looking for a good bubble tea place, Yi Fang is the place to go and Brown Sugar Pearl Milk is the drink to drink! I highly recommend this drink and place to a bubble tea fans out there! Remember, they sell out fast, so if you want this drink remember to go line up and wait for it at least 30 minutes ahead of time!

Wu La Bu Huan

3.5 out of 5 Stars

Wu La Bu Huan is usually my go to place when I am in need of a quick meal. It’s cheap and the portion is HUGE! Each order is almost doubled. It normally takes me two days to finish one order. Here, you get to choose your own food and how spicy you want it. You can choose from “No Spicy,” “Less Spicy,” “Little Spicy,” “Medium Spicy,” or “Crazy Spicy.” Personally, I’ve never tried the crazy spicy, but I heard that it’s so spicy that your tongue goes numb with one bite. For those of you who loves a challenge, this is the place to go.

O2 Korean BBQ

3 out of 5 Stars.

Waited at O2 Korean BBQ for 3 long hours just to eat some meat. The food was good, but was it really worth the hype and the long wait? I’d say no. The place was small, and although they said maximum 90 minutes to eat, they don’t really abide by the rule. To make things worse, they don’t have KALBI! Honestly, 3 hours wait is way too much just for some Korean BBQ.

Ichiran

4.5 of 5 Stars

Ichiran is a Japanese ramen place in New York. Originated from Japan, Ichiran provides different texture of ramen served in rich flavoured broth. Customers get their own private stalls while eating. Each customer is given an order form at the beginning where they can choose the firmness of their noodles, the level of spicy they want in their ramen, the amount of scallion, and the amount of salt and oil.

As far as I know and as much as I’ve eaten in New York, I think Ichiran is the one of the best ramen place in the city. I’ve been here four times already and never have I once been disappointed.

The Girl Who Talks…

Things and people aren’t always when they appear to be. Sometimes what you see is not real; it may just be an illusion that the person wants you to see.

Once there was a girl called Fanny. In many people’s eyes she is a good, obedient girl who would never stay out late. She would always tell people that she needs be home by 9PM or else her parents would yell at her. When people talk to her in a tone she doesn’t like or say something that she cannot counter, she would cry. When she cries it would be “real” tears and other people would think that her friends are the ones who are in the wrong. She lies and make up stories about the people she doesn’t like and talk about her “friends” behind their backs. Because she can “cry” on command, people believe her lies. Everyone believes she is a good, vulnerable girl until one day everything spilled out.

Anna, one of Fanny’s victims, came to know what Fanny did. She came out started to tell the truth. At first no one would believe her, but after some time and some evidence she provided, people started to realize who Fanny really is. Of course, just Anna cannot do anything. All of Fanny’s victims also came out and started a union against Fanny. Soon, everyone knows Fanny is a liar. No matter what she says now, whether it be the truth or more lies, no one would believe her. She became known as “The Girl Who Talks,” meaning she talks and talks but no one will ever believe another word that comes out of her mouth. With that, she has no more friends, no more family and she will die alone with all her lies…
